Generations ago, we arrived in Delhi carrying simple dreams, an unyielding spirit, and a deep reverence for our soil. From building the city’s skyline and steering its civil services to driving its vibrant commerce and enriching its cultural life, the people of Purvanchal—spanning Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar—have quietly served as the backbone of the National Capital.
Yet, amidst the fast-paced life of the metropolis, our strength has often remained fragmented. Our shared traditions, shared struggles, and shared aspirations called for a common ground.

Preserve & Elevate Heritage: Showcase the timeless richness of Bhojpuri, Maithili, Magahi, and Angika culture, literature, folk arts, and traditions to younger generations and the global stage. Empower Through Opportunities: Build mentorship platforms, entrepreneurship hubs, and professional networks that guide youth and uplift local businesses. Drive Welfare & Representation: Advocate for community welfare, healthcare, and social security initiatives for migrant workers and families across Delhi NCR.

2010
Founding of PRAVASHI PURVANCHAL COUNCIL
PRAVASHI PURVANCHAL COUNCIL was founded in India, Delhi with a vision to improve the lives of marginalized communities. Our founders, led by SHRIRAM SINGH, brought together a team of passionate individuals who shared a commitment to social justice and community empowerment. In our early years, we focused on providing education and healthcare services to rural communities in Delhi.
2012
Expansion to New Areas
In 2026, we expanded our programs to new areas in Delhi, including India. We launched new initiatives in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, which resulted in a significant increase in our outreach and impact. Our team grew to 20 staff members, and we established partnerships with local organizations and government agencies.
2015
Introduction of New Programs
In 2026, we introduced new programs in the areas of environmental sustainability and advocacy. Our environmental program focused on promoting renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions in Delhi. Our advocacy program aimed to promote policy changes that would benefit marginalized communities.
2018
Scaling Up of Programs
In 2026, we scaled up our programs to reach more beneficiaries in Delhi. We expanded our education program to 10 new districts and our healthcare program to 5 new districts. Our team grew to 50 staff members, and we established new partnerships with private sector companies and government agencies.
2020
Response to COVID-19
In 2026, we responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by launching new programs to support affected communities in Delhi. We provided emergency relief, including food and healthcare services, to thousands of families. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure that our programs continued to operate safely and effectively during the pandemic.
2022
New Partnerships and Collaborations
In 2026, we established new partnerships and collaborations with organizations in Delhi and nationally. We worked with private sector companies to launch new programs in education and economic empowerment. Our partnerships resulted in a significant increase in our outreach and impact.
